As we expand our reach and portfolio of partner events, we’re seeking a passionate Sponsorships Manager / Executive to help build and nurture strategic partnerships that fuel our growth.

Position Summary

As our Sponsorships Manager / Executive, you will drive the end-to-end sponsorship lifecycle, from prospecting through renewal, across TheCconnects flagship events, digital programs, and custom content series. You’ll be the primary relationship-owner for a portfolio of partners, and you’ll work closely with Marketing, Content, and Events teams to deliver compelling sponsor experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Research
    • Identify, research, and qualify potential sponsor organizations aligned with TheCconnects audience and brand values.
    • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of sponsorship opportunities and account history.
  • Proposal Development & Outreach
    • Collaborate with content and design teams to craft customized sponsorship packages and pitch decks.
    • Lead outreach campaigns, cold calls, and follow-up communications to executives and marketing leads.
  • Negotiation & Contracting
    • Negotiate terms, pricing, and deliverables to maximize revenue while ensuring sponsor satisfaction.
    • Work with legal/finance to draft, review, and finalize sponsorship agreements.
  • Onboarding & Activation
    • Act as the main point of contact for sponsors, guiding them through asset submission, event logistics, branding placements, and digital integrations.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all contracted deliverables (e.g., speaking slots, exhibit space, content features) are executed flawlessly.
  • Relationship Management & Growth
    • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with sponsors, sharing impact reports and recommending upsell or renewal opportunities.
    • Develop long-term partnership strategies to increase sponsor lifetime value and referral opportunities.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Track sponsorship revenue, fulfillment status, and ROI metrics using our CRM and event-management platforms.
    • Provide monthly and quarterly reports to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and growth strategies.

Qualifications

  • Experience & Skills
    • 1 to 5 years of B2B sales, sponsorship sales, or partnership management, ideally within events, media, or professional-services industries.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a quota-driven environment.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build rapport with C-level executives.
    • Strong negotiation and project-management capabilities; detail-oriented with a focus on execution.
  • Technical & Tools
    • Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proposal-generation tools.
    • Familiarity with event-management platforms (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and virtual-event technologies.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Slides, Docs).
