Deepali Kushaldasani: I started my career in Hyderabad as a computer graduate. Initially, I worked at a multimedia institute and later moved to Citibank. After getting married, I joined my husband’s business, Sainath Agencies, where I am now a Co-Founder. My journey has been about leveraging my skills and adapting to new roles, which led me to become an entrepreneur and an active member of WEAI, an NGO supporting women entrepreneurs.
TheCconnects: Who has influenced you the most in life and why?
Deepali Kushaldasani: My husband has been a significant influence in my life. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to our business have inspired me to take on challenges and grow both personally and professionally. His support has been instrumental in my journey with Sainath Agencies and in my community involvement through WEAI.
TheCconnects: What are the biggest challenges you have faced in your life and how did you overcome them?
Deepali Kushaldasani: One of the biggest challenges has been balancing multiple roles—managing our business, supporting community initiatives, and handling family responsibilities. I overcame these challenges by staying organized, seeking support from my team and family, and remaining focused on my goals. The dedication to meeting customer demands despite logistical issues like transport and worker shortages has also been a motivating factor.

Deepali Kushaldasani: I’ve learned the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and continuous learning. Building a business requires dedication and the ability to pivot when necessary. Supporting others, whether through business or community efforts, not only helps them but also enriches your own experience and growth.

Deepali Kushaldasani: The biggest challenge for brands in the digital space is standing out in a crowded market. With so many options available, it’s crucial for brands to find unique selling propositions and maintain genuine engagement with their audience. Consistency and authenticity are key to building a loyal customer base online.

Deepali Kushaldasani: In my free time, I enjoy dancing, arts and crafts, and organizing events. I also engage in creative hobbies like making resin keys, bookmarks, coasters, and scented candles. These activities help me relax and bring balance to my busy professional life.

Deepali Kushaldasani: My advice is to persevere and stay committed to your goals. Remember why you started when you face challenges.
