Lakshmi Tejasvi Founder & Chief Nutritionist at Vibgyornutri Professional Interview

TheCconnects: Can you tell our readers a little about your professional journey & how did you come to your current role/position?

Lakshmi Tejasvi: My professional journey started working in hospitals, and nutrition clinics, also worked with one of the best institutes in India “National institute of Nutrition” in Hyderabad. It was such a great learning phase and understanding the concept of practical nutrition from college books. I have learned and understood how food can heal people physically, mentally, and emotionally and also everyone’s body works so differently and not one mechanism works for all.

After working for 5 years under different companies, one day I decided to begin my entrepreneurial journey. Initially started my office from home and slowly shifted to a commercial working space and opened my first Nutrition clinic in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. After establishing myself well in that city I opened another Clinic in Hyderabad and began juggling between the two cities till date. It was the most difficult journey from reaching out to the community, making awareness of health and nutrition, and making my brand VibgyorNutri visible in both these cities.

TheCconnects: Who has influenced you the most in life and why?

Lakshmi Tejasvi: My mother has influenced me the most in life. I’ve learned how to work hard, not have an ego and be humble to every person in my personal and professional life. She has always taught me the power of honesty and truth. These principles have helped me in my personal and professional life and learn new ways of work and subjects from my juniors and seniors. She is my biggest strength and my best teacher in life.

TheCconnects: What are the biggest challenges you have faced in your life & how did you overcome them?

Lakshmi Tejasvi: My biggest challenge was to come out of my comfort zone and tell myself that I should do something on my own and to convince myself that it is worth the risk of starting as an entrepreneur. I overcame it by taking small steps and one step by another. I always tell myself not to compare with others and look for the talent I have within myself. I try to be positive always and maintain physical and mental health every day by exercising, listening to positive words, and being spiritual.

TheCconnects: What lessons you have learned from your professional career?

Lakshmi Tejasvi: From my professional career, I learned the real meaning of the world around me. From being in a shell and comfort zone all the years, I was able to understand how the actual world works. Also, I learned how difficult it is for a female to be a solo entrepreneur.

TheCconnects: What do you see as the biggest challenge for brands in the digital space?

Lakshmi Tejasvi: Competition and people are not differentiating between the real and fake in the Industry. People are following and get influenced by non-professional people in a field. These are the major challenges for a brand in the digital space.

TheCconnects: How your product/solution can help to resolve the pain points of your customers?

Lakshmi Tejasvi: Following the right nutrition heals them physically, emotionally, and mentally. This gives them a whole insight into what diet actually is and why it is important to follow the right nutrition and how it provides them a sustainable nutritious living.

TheCconnects: Do you have any advice for those who want to become a chief executive officer?

Lakshmi Tejasvi: Never lose confidence and never self-doubt, never stop working hard and never stop learning.
