TheCconnects: Can you tell our readers a little about your professional journey and how you came to your current role/position?
Ussuof M Khan: My journey began as a waiter in 2012, earning Rs. 6,000 per month, to becoming the Founder & CEO of a successful software company by 2022. In simple terms, it was 10 years of consecutive failures and struggles. Every day, I questioned myself—”Will I ever be successful?”—and often felt hopeless. But I had an unwavering drive: “I cannot lose. I will not lose. I’m here to win. No matter how many years it takes, I will keep trying again and again.” Today, I proudly say that I am a testament to the power of persistence and never giving up.
TheCconnects: Who has influenced you the most in life and why?
Ussuof M Khan: One of the most influential moments in my life was with my father. At 19 years old, I wanted to start a business but had no money. My plan was to market my business by distributing visiting cards, so I asked my father for Rs. 400 to print 1,000 cards. He looked at me in silence for 10 seconds, then smiled and said, “It looks like you will do something big in life.” He handed me Rs. 500, and that small act of belief fueled my journey immeasurably.
TheCconnects: What are the biggest challenges you have faced, and how did you overcome them?
Ussuof M Khan: Financial struggles, without a doubt. Every time I wanted to upskill myself or pursue an opportunity, I fell short of money. I had to work extra hard or arrange funds through credit. It was always a do-or-die situation, where I risked everything—either years of hard work would go to waste, or I would create something extraordinary. By God’s grace, those risks have worked in my favor. Today, I have financial freedom to do anything and go anywhere.
TheCconnects: What key lessons have you learned from your professional career?
Ussuof M Khan: Rejections, delays, and failures build the character needed to handle and value success. Every challenge is part of the preparation for something better. My advice: Never be afraid to lose something good to gain something better.”

Ussuof M Khan: Brand vulnerability. No matter how great your service is, one unethical mistake from anyone associated with the company can damage the brand. Additionally, competitors can run false campaigns, harming your reputation. Fixing a brand image takes ages, and even then, it remains vulnerable.

Ussuof M Khan: Everything you see around you—cars, cameras, buildings, businesses, jewelry, ships—exists because someone believed in their vision more than anything else. People will try to pull you down because they only want themselves to succeed. They will throw stones at your vision—but it’s your responsibility to keep going.
