TheCconnects: Thank you for joining us today, Anvesh. Your journey is truly inspiring, as it spans engineering, human resources, psychology, journalism, and innovation. What fuels such a diverse pursuit of knowledge and contribution?
Anvesh Roy: Thank you for having me. My journey has never been linear; it has unfolded through a series of awakenings that have profoundly shaped my understanding of the world. What drives this diversity is not mere ambition but a deep yearning to connect with the human experience through multiple lenses—technical, emotional, spiritual, and societal.
It all began with my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTU Kakinada, where I learned to dissect complex systems and innovate. However, I soon realized that engineering solutions without understanding the human element is only half the picture. This realization sparked a desire within me to explore the intersection of technology and humanity.
Pursuing an M.Tech in Power Systems and Automation from GITAM University opened my eyes to energy and sustainability. However, it was my dual MBA in Human Resource Management and Operations Management that transformed my perspective. I immersed myself in the intricacies of organizational behavior, recognizing that the heart of every successful organization is its people.
Now, as I pursue an M.Sc in Psychology from Jain University and an M.A in Journalism and Mass Communication from Andhra University, I find myself not just collecting degrees, but building a comprehensive mirror reflecting society. Each step in this journey is a conversation with myself: “How can I serve better?” This path is fueled by a deep hunger to lead with wisdom, compassion, and purpose, aiming to create a world where technology serves humanity rather than the other way around.
“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of one’s mind to think.” – Albert Einstein
TheCconnects: You hold over 35 patents across cutting-edge domains such as AI, IoT, cloud computing, and sustainable energy. What drives your innovation?
Anvesh Roy: For me, innovation transcends technology; it is deeply rooted in empathy and the human experience. Each patent emerges from a question that resonates within me: “How can I alleviate suffering?” I vividly remember the moment that sparked my first invention. A close friend’s grandmother suffered a minor stroke because her symptoms went undetected, leaving me feeling utterly helpless. Witnessing her struggle ignited a passion in me to develop an AI-based stroke prediction model—an innovation aimed specifically at protecting the vulnerable in our society.
From smart accident response systems to ethical AI models, each patent reflects my commitment to responding to the world’s cries with purpose and compassion. I’ve been blessed with the tools of science, but more importantly, I’ve cultivated the ability to listen to pain and act decisively. My innovations are driven by a desire to create solutions that empower individuals and communities, making technology a force for good.
“Necessity may be the mother of invention, but compassion is its soul.”
TheCconnects: As a humanitarian and President of the Human Rights (South India), how do you balance high-end innovation with grassroots compassion?
Anvesh Roy: Innovation and compassion are intricately intertwined—they share the same heartbeat. Every algorithm I design and every rescue mission I lead springs from a singular mission: to restore dignity to those who have been marginalized.
As President of the Human Rights Council for India and the RTI Human Rights Activist Association in Andhra Pradesh, I have engaged in grassroots efforts that span from wiping tears to feeding the hungry, rescuing strays, and standing with flood victims. These experiences have shown me that true leadership is not only about making decisions in boardrooms; it’s about being present in the trenches, witnessing the struggles of those around us. When I see a stray animal trembling in pain or a young girl denied an education, my instinct is not to think of research but to feel the fire in my soul ignited by their plight. This fire drives me to innovate responsibly, ensuring that my technological advancements are grounded in real-world impact.
I believe that real leadership is when intellect serves compassion, and true innovation is remembering the essence of the ground while working in a lab. It’s about ensuring that as we advance technologically, we do not forget the human stories behind the data.
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” – Mahatma Gandhi
TheCconnects: As a motivational figure and mentor, what principles guide your leadership?
Anvesh Roy: True leadership begins with listening—not just hearing words, but truly understanding the emotions behind them. I’ve never viewed leadership as a display of power; rather, it is a profound responsibility rooted in humility and compassion. When someone approaches me with broken dreams or silent pain, I don’t merely offer advice—I share my scars. Our pain, when shared with honesty, becomes a guiding light for someone else’s path. After a youth seminar, a young girl approached me in tears. She had lost her father and was battling depression. She said, “Your story made me feel I’m not alone.” This moment was a powerful reminder that the most impactful speeches are often our personal stories.
Leadership is not about being ahead; it’s about walking beside others, creating safe spaces for people to rise, fall, and rise again. I strive to foster an environment where vulnerability is celebrated, and every voice is heard, because I believe that true transformation occurs when we empower one another.
“The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers.” – Ralph Nader
TheCconnects: You’ve authored several books, including Employee Engagement, Theory of Evolutions, Electric Vehicles: Prospects and Challenges, and Hybrid Algorithms for Quantum Computing and AI. What inspires your writing?
Anvesh Roy: My books are pieces of my soul carved into pages, each one born from a deep-seated desire to communicate truths that often go unspoken. Employee Engagement emerged from my HR journey, where I witnessed how people could lose themselves in jobs that fail to recognize their value.
Theory of Evolutions explores spiritual growth through pain, love, and loss, reflecting my belief that our struggles can be transformative. Electric Vehicles embodies my passion for sustainability, reinforcing the idea that progress must protect our planet. Hybrid Algorithms delves into the intersection of AI and quantum technology, examining how these innovations can reshape our systems for the better.
Currently, I’m writing a psychology book that delves into the emotional costs of AI, the silent battles many face in a tech-driven world, and how we can reclaim our humanity amidst the chaos. I write because some truths cannot be spoken—they must be felt. For me, books are a way to embrace the world with my words, creating connections that transcend barriers.
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” – Maya Angelou
TheCconnects: How has sports—particularly cricket—shaped your leadership values and resilience?
Anvesh Roy: Sports, in its entirety, serves as a profound teacher in the school of life. My journey with cricket, in particular, has been an enlightening chapter filled with invaluable lessons. From teamwork to discipline, every sport imparts skills and values that extend far beyond the field.
Cricket has taught me that success is not solely an individual pursuit. As captain of the GITAM University Cricket Team, I learned to harness the unique strengths of each player, understanding that our collective effort is what leads to victory. In one memorable match, we found ourselves in a challenging situation, facing a strong opponent and losing wickets quickly. The pressure was palpable, and I could feel the weight of my teammates’ hopes resting on my shoulders.
In that moment, I realized that leadership is about fostering a culture of resilience and encouragement. I gathered my team and shared my own vulnerabilities, reminding them that we were in this together. It was a powerful reminder that sports is not just about the scoreboard; it’s about the bonds we create and the support we offer one another. Every sport teaches us lessons—about perseverance in the face of adversity, the importance of trust and communication, and the humility to accept both victories and defeats with grace. These experiences shaped my character and instilled a sense of empathy that I carry into my leadership roles today. Ultimately, what I cherish most about my time in sports is the understanding that the journey matters as much as the destination. It’s about the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the resilience built along the way. As I move forward in my life and career, I strive to embody these principles, leading with empathy and fostering environments where everyone can thrive.
“In the grand game of life, every sport teaches us to play with heart, to lift one another, and to rise together through every challenge.”
TheCconnects: You’ve actively led feeding drives, supported animal welfare, and participated in numerous rescue efforts. What motivates these humanitarian commitments beyond your career?
Anvesh Roy: Sometimes the world breaks your heart—and that heartbreak can open it wide enough to let humanity in. My father, an Indian Army veteran, taught me to serve with honor, while my mother exemplified the power of silent sacrifice. From them, I learned that service is not an act; it’s a way of life. Whether I’m feeding stray dogs, distributing meals to the homeless, or helping during a crisis, I view these actions not as “acts of kindness” but as responsibilities. Each experience is a reminder that true success is not just about climbing ladders; it’s about reaching back down and lifting others with you. Every meal shared or life saved resonates deeply within me, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected. My humanitarian commitments stem from a desire to inspire hope and show that compassion can transcend boundaries. I am motivated by the stories of those I serve, and each act of service strengthens my resolve to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves.
TheCconnects: You’ve received several prestigious awards. Could you share what these recognitions mean to you and how they influence your journey?
Anvesh Roy: Every award I’ve received serves as a message to every struggling soul: “You’re not invisible. Keep going.” These accolades are not merely achievements; they are reflections of the countless sleepless nights, tears shed in solitude, and moments of deep surrender to God.
Notable recognitions include:

These honors remind me to remain humble and focused on my purpose. They inspire me to persevere, to continue pushing boundaries, and to strive for excellence in everything I do. I view each recognition as a call to action—a reminder to use my platform to uplift others and to contribute positively to society.
TheCconnects: You’ve expressed a dream to contribute globally, especially in the United States. What does this dream represent for you?
Anvesh Roy: This dream is not just a career aspiration; it’s a prayer I whisper to the universe each day. Contributing in the United States, carrying the spirit of India onto a global stage of innovation, leadership, and service, represents something far deeper than ambition.
On this Independence Day, July 4th, I reflect on the ideals of freedom and opportunity that the U.S. embodies. The journey to realize one’s dreams is often filled with challenges, but it is also a testament to resilience and the power of belief. As I pursue my aspirations in a land that celebrates the pursuit of happiness, I am reminded of the words of Eleanor Roosevelt: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
As Rafael Cruz once said, “Only in America can someone start with nothing and achieve the American Dream. That’s the greatness of this country.” This resonates deeply with my journey, as I strive to inspire others to dream big and actively pursue their aspirations.
I also believe in the wisdom of Lao Tzu, who said, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” This underscores the importance of taking that first step toward our dreams, no matter how daunting they may seem. This dream is born from struggles, silent tears, and moments when all I had was hope and faith. During overwhelming times, I found strength in prayer: “God, if it’s Your will, guide my steps. If not, grant me the strength to serve where I am.”
For me, this isn’t about geography; it’s about impact. The U.S. symbolizes a platform where ideas take flight and ethics find expression. I aspire to build bridges between nations, cultures, and communities, inspiring others from humble beginnings who dare to rise. With God’s blessings, I hope this dream will soon become a reality. When it does, I will move forward with humility, carrying every lesson, prayer, and scar as part of my offering to the world.
TheCconnects: Your father served in the Indian Army, and your mother is a homemaker. How have your parents shaped your values and dreams?
Anvesh Roy: My parents are the roots from which my strength blossoms. My father, an ex-serviceman, instilled in me discipline, patriotism, and integrity—not through words, but through silent sacrifice. He would rise before dawn, polish his boots, and share few but meaningful lessons. That discipline is etched into my soul. My mother, a homemaker, is my spiritual compass. Her love is quiet yet profound, like the prayer she offers for me each morning before I rise. She has given me the courage to dream and the humility to stay grounded.
In their eyes, I’ve witnessed courage without pride, love without conditions, and dreams without ego. Each of my achievements pays tribute to their unspoken sacrifices. They have shaped my values, teaching me that true success is not measured by wealth or accolades but by the lives we touch and the love we share.
“Behind every fearless person is a silent hero who whispered belief when the world doubted.”
TheCconnects: With so many areas—AI, mental health, education, sustainability—how do you choose where to direct your energy?
Anvesh Roy: I listen—not to trends, but to suffering. Where are people hurting? Where are systems failing? That’s where I focus my efforts. Whether it’s using machine learning to detect student stress, AI for accident response, or blockchain to protect privacy, I align my work with urgency and empathy. I don’t chase success; I chase significance.
My energy is sacred, and I direct it toward initiatives that can heal, uplift, and inspire. I believe in being a catalyst for change, using my skills and knowledge to create solutions that address the real needs of people and communities.
TheCconnects: How does spirituality shape your leadership and perspective in a tech-driven world?
Anvesh Roy: In a world obsessed with speed, spirituality reminds me to pause and reflect. I begin each day in silence—not to disconnect, but to connect more deeply—with God, myself, and my purpose. When I innovate, I ask: “Is this aligned with my soul?” I don’t want to just create powerful technologies; I want to build meaningful legacies that resonate in both code and consciousness. My spirituality grounds me, guiding me to ensure that my pursuits serve a higher purpose and contribute positively to the world.
TheCconnects: What advice would you give the next generation—especially those from humble beginnings who want to make a difference?
Anvesh Roy: To every dreamer who feels small: you are not insignificant. Your pain holds power. Your prayers are heard. Your struggles are shaping you into something unstoppable. Work hard, but also engage in healing. Believe, but serve selflessly. Don’t aim merely to be known; aim to be felt. You don’t need permission to be great. You only need the courage to start with what you have, where you are, and with all your heart. Embrace your journey, for it is uniquely yours, and remember—each step you take in service to others is a step toward greatness.
“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” – Arthur Ashe
TheCconnects: Tell us about your current book on psychology and its message for the future.
Anvesh Roy: This book is very close to my heart. It isn’t just a textbook on psychology; it reflects our silent emotional battles in a tech-driven world. I explore how artificial intelligence subtly rewires human behavior, relationships, and purpose, while emphasizing the need to reclaim our humanity amidst the chaos. In a world racing toward speed and perfection, many are quietly drowning. My book serves as a gentle hand on the shoulder, reminding readers: “You’re seen. You’re heard. You matter.” I write not as an expert, but as someone who has experienced pain, meditated, questioned, and ultimately found healing. I hope this book becomes a mirror for readers to discover their emotional truths—and the strength to honor them. It’s a call to embrace our shared humanity in the face of technological advancement.
“In the middle of every technological revolution, we must find room for the soul.”
TheCconnects: What does legacy mean to you?
Anvesh Roy: Legacy is not built from monuments; it’s made of moments. Moments where you chose kindness over comfort. Moments where you lifted someone without seeking recognition. Moments where you set aside ego to walk with purpose. If I’m remembered, let it be for this: “He served, smiled, and lifted souls.” That, to me, is immortality.
“Carve your name on hearts, not tombstones. A legacy is etched into the minds of others and the stories they share about you.” – Shannon L. Alder
TheCconnects: As you reflect on your journey and the impact you aspire to make, what message do you have for the future generation, and how can they contribute to a more connected and compassionate world?
Anvesh Roy: As I reflect on my journey, I am filled with hope and determination for the future. My message to the next generation is simple yet profound: you have the power to change the world, and your actions, no matter how small, can create ripples of transformation.
In the coming years, I foresee that challenges like depression and stress will be among the most significant issues we face. It’s crucial to recognize that these struggles are not signs of weakness; they are part of the human experience. In this context, I urge you to cultivate kindness and empathy, both toward yourself and others. When we approach life with compassion, we create spaces where vulnerability is welcomed, and healing can begin.
Gratitude is also an essential part of this journey. Take a moment to appreciate who you are and where you are. Acknowledge the strengths you possess, the lessons learned from your challenges, and the support systems around you. Practicing gratitude can foster resilience and help shift your perspective, allowing you to see the beauty in the present, even amidst difficulties. Embrace your unique voice and experiences. Use your gifts to serve a purpose greater than yourself, and remember that it is okay to seek help when you feel overwhelmed. By sharing your struggles, you not only lighten your own burden but also inspire others to do the same. Let’s build a culture where we uplift one another, where kindness is the norm, and where we foster open conversations about mental health.
Amid the chaos and challenges, hold on to hope. It is a powerful force that can guide you through even the darkest moments. When faced with adversity, let your inner light shine brighter. Seek out joy in the little things, practice gratitude, and remember that every day is a new opportunity to make a positive impact in someone’s life—starting with your own.
As we move forward, let us create a future that is grounded in empathy, gratitude, and positivity—a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Together, we can combat the rising tide of stress and depression by fostering connections, supporting one another, and encouraging a culture of kindness.
In the words of the late Nelson Mandela, “What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”
Your journey starts now. Embrace it with open hearts and minds, and watch as you inspire change on a global scale, all while nurturing your own well-being and that of those around you.
