TheCconnects: Can you tell our readers a little about your professional journey & how did you come to your current role/position?
Monuranjan Borgohain: As a youngster, my dream was to get into the health sector and become a doctor. But destiny had different plans for me. I belong to an humble middle-class family in Assam. I tried my best to gain technical skills throughout my academic life and believe in the ‘never give up’ attitude. I developed a people-centric approach that helped me to rediscover myself. I have 14 years of work experience in varied roles with some of the leading multinational companies such as Societe General, Huawei, Publicis, Sapient, Coach, GalaxE, Cigna, Liberty Mutual, Verizon Wireless, Siemens, and Tesco. I have played various techno-functional roles for million-dollar engagements.
I developed the passion for entrepreneurship when I was still a newcomer in the IT Industry. I shared a couple of startup concepts with my friends, which never took off. However, I didn’t give up and it was those failed concepts that helped me re-strategize a more concrete plan when I started the next venture. After 7-8 years of work, I started my next successful venture.
My journey as a founder and CEO of DIATOZ, began from an idea I thought of while sitting on my small balcony at home in May, 2018. DIATOZ has grown from a one-person company to a headcount of over 200 employees and offices across India and Singapore. DIATOZ provides secured, trusted, reliable, and affordable software services to industries across the globe. We are a one-stop digital solution provider where we deliver end-to-end solutions from requirement gathering to branding and marketing.
We specialised in Software & Mobile Application development, application development & cloud infrastructure, UI/UX design, Chat & Voice Bot solution, enterprise digital transformation, product development, big data & machine learning, quality automation, IoT, and digital marketing. I have bootstrapped DIATOZ with year-on-year revenue growth of 6x. As a CEO, I have extended the business to partner with several startups, and billion-dollar companies like L&T Construction, Mahindra Comviva, TCL USA, DDB Mudra Groups, and many others.
I have spun off another company called e2eHiring Pvt Ltd in 2021, it is of the pioneers in AI-Powered recruitment platforms for automating job seekers and an employer’s journey end-to-end. Over 500K talented youth as well as skilled professionals are registered on this platform. I believe in investing and developing at the grassroot level guiding students in schools and colleges, upskilling those who are already in the middle of their career as well as encouraging budding talent across the country. I feel motivated by my team of young and skilled members belonging to different towns and cities in India. A company needs employees to grow by giving them enough freedom to suggest and make changes in the competitive market. e2eHiring is making regular efforts to satisfy its employees and customers at every stage. I have also co-founded DIATOZ E-Commerce to create a deeper and more meaningful contribution to the eCommerce space.
TheCconnects: What are the biggest challenges you have faced in your life & how did you overcome them?
Monuranjan Borgohain: Self-funded startups always have to go through several challenges. However, those challenges actually motivate us to do better. The most challenging part is maintaining operational expenditure, especially when there is no backing support. However, when the vision is so strong and willing to do something that can help others, then these challenges look small or manageable. For me, the biggest challenge is to remain a friendly, understanding team member while enhancing business across the country.
The CEO experience is welcome, but also an ongoing challenge. If profits are not high, but the team is putting in lots of effort, I have to be stern and at the same time encourage them to put in more hours of work. A startup can become a unicorn; there are 3,777 in Bangalore itself. These facts and figures help one of us to overcome challenges that are faced by all, be it financial, time crunch, innovative ideas for the use of AI software for apps, and increased registrations of colleges, students academic institutions, and government agencies on our online recruitment portals.
TheCconnects: What lessons have you learned from your professional career?
Monuranjan Borgohain: The hiring process is challenging for all recruiters in the government, private and public sectors. I have learned that to achieve targets constant study and research are required. I feel motivated by my team of young and skilled members who can share ideas and plans to connect with the talented youth and professionals in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

This will assist in reaching the goal of becoming a part of the 104 Unicorns valued at over $1 Billion today. More than 40 out of these are based in Bangalore. So there is always an opportunity knocking on our door. We have to be ready and grab it at the right time.
I want to make e2eHiring accomplish its mission to solve the challenges HR teams face in the talent acquisition space and become the world’s largest AI-Powered integrated recruitment and job search platform. I have learnt that nothing is impossible, so the passionate team is committed to making the end-to-end hiring journey smooth, agile, and transparent. The platform is open for fresh and skilled talent, academic institutions, and universities without any cost. I am working to offer unified solutions for the recruitment management and Assessment software that streamlines the hiring process for HR teams across all corporates registered online with them.
TheCconnects: How does your product/solution help to resolve the pain points of your customers?
Monuranjan Borgohain: The fourth industrial revolution will require more skills, more jobs, and more interactive career platforms for the youth. e2eHiring is bridging this gap between academia and industry and adopting a new holistic approach toward youth education and employment.
The successful startups in India are built on eagerness to bring change, encourage mentorship for upskilling, fulfill market requirements and adapt to AI and software technology advancement. In this new ‘Techade’ , huge leaps have been made by e2eHiring Pvt Ltd in the area of AI online recruitment and assessment.
Some of the key developments in this platform that are making it innovative and different include, the AI-Powered candidate recommendation feature that provides the list of most suitable job candidates, saving recruiters time to connect with each candidate. The company’s e2eHiring platform allows employers to conduct glitch-free computer-based tests (CBTs). With over
1000+ questions based on different technologies with different complexity levels help organisations to hire candidates from fresher to experienced. e2eHiring removes the menial work in recruitment efforts by providing all the data HR needs to make a hiring decision. My dream is to bridge the gap between mass talent all over India and employers across the globe.
TheCconnects: Name some of your achievements in the last few years that will inspire other startups to go further?
Monuranjan Borgohain: I was selected as one of the top 10 Inspiring Innovative Business Leaders in India. Recently, I featured in India Today’s story on “Innovative business leaders setting new standards of business with innovation” and Times Group story on “Aspiring Youth and Skill Gap”
We signed an MoU with the ICT Academy, Government of Tamil Nadu held in Chennai on 13 July 2022, in the presence of Thiru T. Mano Thangaraj HON’BLE MINISTER FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU, to invite several thousand students at the Academy to register for unlimited jobs and internships and plan a stable future under e2eHiring’s mentorship and guidance.
CADD Training Academy, Chennai, Lovely Professional University (LPU) and Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), Meghalaya Science and Technology Centre, Parul University, are already in partnership with us along with several other colleges.
More than 200 Companies across the IT and Non IT sector like Axiom, MyCaptain, Club Mahindra, Resilience, Edumyra, PixelPenguin and many more have registered on the portal and got the best talent for their organisation.

TheCconnects: Do you have any advice for those who want to become a chief executive officer?
Monuranjan Borgohain: Who are the Chiefs in companies today? They are employees who have supervisory positions in the organisation and are very inspiring colleagues. They manage teams or even entire business units. In such roles, you need to be an active listener and have empathy. You need the ability to make complex ideas, easy to understand for everyone. Constantly focus on developing strategic thinking skills to inspire and convince everyone. Most importantly, you require the ability to assess employees’ strengths and weaknesses and build trust.
Here, strong communication skills, positivity, and reliability play a key role. This helps in aligning the employees with the company values and goals. The ability to help employees find meaning at work requires a strong, charismatic and positive leadership style. So, to grow as a leader one has to grow with his/her team. e2eHiring encourages Public Private partnerships that will surely help in bridging the gap between youth awareness and government development and educational schemes and programs.
