In an era where “hustle culture” often leads to burnout and “productivity hacks” provide only fleeting results, Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu offers a more profound alternative: the total recalibration of the human mind. A world-record-holding mentalist, hypnotist, and mind coach, Dr. Sajeev has transitioned the performing arts of mentalism from the stage to the classroom and the boardroom.
Hailing from Urulikunnam, Kerala, Dr. Sajeev’s journey is a synthesis of ancient philosophical insights and modern cognitive science. With seven world records and a top-tier international rank in hypnosis, he has dedicated his life to proving that human potential is rarely limited by external opportunities-it is limited by untrained thinking.
Today, TheCconnects sits down with Dr. Sajeev to explore the “syntax” of the subconscious and how we can all become the architects of our own reality.
TheCconnects: Dr. Sajeev, it is an absolute honor. You’ve had a meteoric rise, securing seven world records and becoming a global voice in mind science. Can you walk our readers through your professional journey? How does a young boy from Urulikunnam evolve into a world-renowned mind coach?
Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu: Thank you for having me. My journey began not with a desire for records, but with a deep, persistent curiosity about why humans do what they do. Growing up in Kerala, I was surrounded by a rich tapestry of cultural philosophy and observational learning. I saw people with immense talent fail, and others with seemingly fewer resources succeed spectacularly.
I realized the difference wasn’t just “luck”-it was the software running in the background of their minds. I started studying mentalism and hypnotism as performing arts, but I soon realized their potential as therapeutic and educational tools. My role today is to “democratize” these specialized sciences. I wanted to take the mystery out of the mind and replace it with mastery.
TheCconnects: Every great thinker is shaped by their environment and those who came before them. Who has influenced you the most in your life and why?
Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu: My parents, P.R. Bhaskaran Nair and P.K. Janakiyamma, were my first teachers. They taught me the value of discipline and the importance of one’s roots.
Professionally, I am influenced by the concept of the “Universal Mind.” I believe that each individual mind is like a particle of a larger consciousness. This realization takes away the fear of limitation. If your mind is a particle of the universal mind, you have access to infinite potential. This is why my classes don’t just focus on “effort”-they focus on alignment. When you align your subconscious with your conscious goals, you stop fighting your own biology.
TheCconnects: You’ve achieved 16th rank globally in a hypnosis assessment among 300 participants and secured multiple world records. What was the biggest challenge you faced in bringing these “performing arts” into the serious world of corporate and educational training?
Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu: The biggest challenge was the stigma of “magic.” Many people see mentalism or hypnotism as a form of trickery or mere entertainment. Overcoming this “entertainment barrier” required a rigorous focus on results and scientific validation.
I had to demonstrate that the same techniques used to entertain an audience could be used to remove examination anxiety in students or help a CEO manage high-stakes stress. I overcame this by aligning my work with recognized quality systems-obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certifications and working with initiatives connected to NITI Aayog and Ayushman Bharat. Validation through world records wasn’t about ego; it was about building a bridge of credibility so people would listen to the science behind the performance.
TheCconnects: You often say that “human potential is limited by untrained thinking.” What are the key lessons you’ve learned from your career about how to train those 60,000 thoughts we have every day?
Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu: The most important lesson is that the mind is a mirror. If the mirror is broken or dusty, the reflection of your life will be distorted. We have roughly 60,000 thoughts a day, and for most people, the majority are negative or repetitive “background noise.”
I teach that you must move from “reactive thinking” to “intentional programming.” You have to learn how to pass messages from the conscious mind to the subconscious. The subconscious is like a fertile garden; it doesn’t care what seeds you plant-it will grow them. If you plant seeds of health anxiety and fear, that is what your life will reflect. My career has taught me that the fastest shortcut to success is not working harder, but cleaning that mental mirror through self-hypnosis and affirmations.
TheCconnects: As a mind coach and journalist, you see how digital transformation is changing the world. What do you see as the biggest challenge for brands and individuals in the digital space today?
Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu: The challenge is “Cognitive Overload.” In the digital space, we are constantly bombarded with subliminal messages and data. For brands, the challenge is breaking through the “noise” to create a genuine psychological connection.
For individuals, the digital world is creating a “fragmented mind.” We are losing the ability to focus-which is the primary tool of the subconscious. If you cannot focus, you cannot manifest. Brands that succeed in the coming years will be those that respect the consumer’s mental health and offer “clarity” rather than just more “content.”
TheCconnects: Your training modules cover everything from student anxiety to senior citizen engagement. How do your solutions specifically address the “pain points” of a corporate workforce?
Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu: The corporate world suffers from “Performance Paralysis” and “Chronic Stress.” Employees are often working with “broken minds” full of doubt and health anxiety.
My programs address this through Subconscious Goal Conditioning. We don’t just talk about KPIs; we use practical cognitive exercises to reframe fear and performance anxiety. We teach “Stress-Free Lifestyle Conditioning,” showing them how to use self-hypnosis to reset their nervous system in minutes. When an employee recognizes the power of their mind to control their own physiological response, they become more resilient and significantly more productive.
TheCconnects: With such a heavy schedule of seminars, world-record attempts, and research, how do you spend your free time? How does a mind coach “recharge” his own mental batteries?
Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu: I am a lifelong researcher. I spend my free time exploring the intersections of ancient knowledge systems and modern psychology. For me, “recharging” is about returning to silence. If you are constantly teaching others how to manage their 60,000 thoughts, you must be very disciplined about your own. I practice what I preach-meditation, self-hypnosis, and staying connected to nature. I find peace in knowing that there is always more to learn about the elusive puzzle that is the human mind.
TheCconnects: Finally, what is your advice for aspiring entrepreneurs or educators who want to make a real impact in the field of performance psychology?
Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu: My advice is simple: Understand the problem at a fundamental level before you design a solution. Don’t just build a “motivational” business because it’s trending.
You must be your own first client. If you haven’t mastered your own subconscious, you cannot lead others to theirs. Understand the levels of the mind-the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious-and learn to pass messages between them. If you can change a person’s thinking, you change their lived reality. That is the highest form of service an entrepreneur can offer.

TheCconnects: Dr. Sajeev, thank you. This conversation makes it clear that the most powerful tool we possess isn’t our technology, but the three-pound organ between our ears.
Dr. Sajeev P.B. Pallathu: Thank you. It was a pleasure sharing the journey. Just remember: your potential is rarely limited by your opportunity-it is limited by your untrained thinking.
