Naga Anusha Gogineni, Managing Director – Finance, Operations & HR at Truerize IQ Strategic Solutions Pvt Ltd | Exclusive Interview

In the rapidly evolving technology sector, true leadership requires more than just technical expertise-it demands a seamless integration of financial acumen, human resource management, and strategic vision. Few embody this multidimensional leadership better than Naga Anusha Gogineni. As the Managing Director of Finance, Operations, and HR at Truerize IQ Strategic Solutions Pvt Ltd-a CMMI Level 5 and ISO 9001:2015 certified enterprise based in Bengaluru-she has orchestrated a remarkable journey of sustainable growth and social impact.

From steering HR strategies at corporate giants like Power Mech Projects Ltd and Reliance to mastering enterprise financial systems as an SAP FICO Consultant at Tech Mahindra, her career path is a masterclass in versatility. In 2020, she transitioned into entrepreneurship, leading a tech startup to complete over 1000 projects, including critical Department of Science and Technology (DST) research initiatives, while building a robust workforce of over 110 professionals.

Beyond corporate success, Naga Anusha is a fierce advocate for women’s empowerment and economic independence, heavily involved in impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. TheCconnects recently sat down with her to discuss her transition from corporate HR to tech entrepreneurship, the intersection of finance and IT, and her unwavering commitment to social transformation.

TheCconnects: Naga Anusha, it is an absolute privilege to speak with you today. Your career trajectory is incredibly diverse, moving from senior HR roles to SAP FICO consulting, and now serving as a Managing Director overseeing Finance, Operations, and HR. Can you tell our readers how this unique journey unfolded?

Naga Anusha Gogineni: Thank you for having me; it is a pleasure to be here. My journey has always been driven by a desire to understand the complete anatomy of a business. After completing my MBA from KL University in 2010, I started my career in Human Resources. At Power Mech Projects and later at Reliance, I spent years focusing on workforce management, organizational structuring, and leadership development. I learned that human capital is the heartbeat of any enterprise.

However, I also realized that to truly drive an organization forward, you must understand the nervous system that supports that heartbeat: finance and technology. This curiosity led me to pivot in 2016. I joined Tech Mahindra as an SAP FICO Consultant. Spending four years deeply immersed in enterprise resource planning and financial process optimization bridged my understanding of people, money, and systems. By the time I founded my own IT product-based company in 2020, I had a 360-degree view of how to build a company that was not only technologically innovative but financially resilient and culturally strong.

TheCconnects: Launching a business in 2020-at the height of global uncertainty-must have tested your limits. What were the biggest challenges you faced during that entrepreneurial leap, and how did you overcome them?

Naga Anusha Gogineni: Starting a business in 2020 was a trial by fire. The global landscape was unpredictable, and the biggest challenge was achieving operational scalability while maintaining absolute financial stability. We were acquiring complex research-driven projects, but we needed the right talent to execute them remotely.

I overcame this by leaning heavily into my dual background. I used my HR experience to recruit and nurture a highly motivated workforce-which has now grown to over 110 professionals-and I utilized my SAP FICO background to enforce strict, disciplined budgeting. We didn’t chase reckless growth; we focused on structured, sustainable execution. This rigorous financial governance is what allowed us to successfully deliver over 1000 projects, including significant work with the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

TheCconnects: You have successfully integrated finance, governance, and technology within Truerize IQ Strategic Solutions. What do you see as the biggest challenge for brands and tech enterprises in the digital space today?

Naga Anusha Gogineni: The greatest challenge in the digital space today is the disconnect between technological innovation and financial viability. Many tech companies develop brilliant, cutting-edge products but fail because they lack structured financial planning and sustainable business models.

Furthermore, data governance and quality compliance are massive hurdles. In the rush to digitize, many organizations compromise on process discipline. At Truerize IQ, achieving our ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI Level 5 certifications wasn’t just about getting a badge; it was about ensuring that our rapid technological output was backed by uncompromising quality and structured governance. Innovation without discipline is just a chaotic expense.

TheCconnects: A core pillar of your leadership is your commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and women’s empowerment. Who or what influenced this deep dedication to social impact?

Naga Anusha Gogineni: My belief system is rooted in the idea that corporate success is hollow if it doesn’t translate into societal upliftment. Throughout my career, I witnessed the sheer transformative power of giving a woman access to education and financial independence. When you empower a woman economically, you don’t just change her life-you create a multiplier effect that elevates her family, her community, and the broader economy.

Our organization actively collaborates with charitable institutions, including the Mother Theresa Charitable Trust, focusing on the health and education of female children and economically disadvantaged women. My influence comes from the resilient women I meet through these programs. Their determination fuels my commitment to fostering an inclusive, merit-driven workplace culture where female professionals can thrive and lead.

TheCconnects: Managing Finance, Operations, and HR for a rapidly growing IT company, while actively driving CSR initiatives, is a monumental task. What do you do in your free time to recharge and maintain your strategic focus?

Naga Anusha Gogineni: Balancing these verticals requires strict time management, so I am very protective of my downtime. In my free time, I immerse myself in reading about global economic trends and emerging technologies, which helps me stay ahead of the curve. However, my true recharge comes from spending quality time with my family and engaging directly in our community outreach programs. Stepping away from the spreadsheets and boardrooms to see the tangible human impact of our work is incredibly grounding and re-energizes me for the week ahead.

TheCconnects: Your vision is centered on building a financially robust and socially responsible organization. How do the solutions at Truerize IQ address your clients’ specific pain points to fulfill this vision?

Naga Anusha Gogineni: Our clients’ primary pain point is navigating digital transformation without losing operational stability. They need solutions that are not only technologically advanced but also financially sensible and compliant with regulatory standards.

Because we operate at the intersection of IT and financial governance, our products are designed to optimize enterprise resources. We don’t just hand over a software product; we ensure it aligns with the client’s financial strategy and operational realities. Our involvement in high-stakes DST research initiatives proves that our frameworks are built for complex, critical problem-solving with a high degree of accountability.

TheCconnects: Finally, drawing from your incredible journey from HR Manager to Managing Director, what advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly women entering the tech and finance sectors?

Naga Anusha Gogineni: My biggest piece of advice is to refuse to be siloed. Do not let anyone tell you that you can only be an “HR person,” a “finance person,” or a “tech person.” The most effective leaders are those who understand how these disciplines intersect.

For women specifically: claim your space with confidence. Build your financial acumen, because understanding the numbers gives you the power to steer the ship. Embrace technological adaptability, but ground your decisions in financial integrity and social responsibility. Finally, as you climb, ensure you are lifting others with you. True leadership is measured not just by the revenue you generate, but by the leaders you create along the way.
